The   first   four   swine   flu   patients   in   Tasmania   have   been   discharged   from   hospital   and   are   now   at   home,   while   the   fifth   patient   is   stable   in   hospital,   the   Tasmanian   Health   Department   said   in   a   statement. Health   Minister   Jonathan   Coleman   said   a   second   woman,   who   returned   from   Hong   Kong   on   Wednesday,   had   contracted   the   swine   flu   and   was   being   monitored   at   home. "She   has   returned   home   and   I   can   confirm   her   condition   has   improved,"   he   said. "She   has   not   needed   to   be   discharged   to   hospital." The   swine   flu   outbreak   has   raised   concerns   about   the   welfare   of   thousands   of   poultry   farmers   who   raise   them   and   many   hospitals   are   now   reporting   patients   who   have   come   down   with   the   virus. The   latest   patient   will   be   transferred   to   the   same   hospital   in   Adelaide   for   further   observation. Health   officials   said   there   were   no   recent   flu   cases   in   Tasmania. There   is   currently   a   high   level   of   concern   for   those   who   raise   the   poultry   as   a   source   of   animal   feed   and   their   families. The   swine   flu   was   first   reported   to   Tasmania   in   late   September   after   an   outbreak   in   rural   rural   areas   of   northern   Sydney   and   Melbourne. It   was   a   milder   strain   which   affected   three   people   and   two   dogs   in   the   first   week   of   October   and   since   had   been   contained   in   eight   states   and   the   Australian   Capital   Territory. Health   authorities   said   there   was   no   evidence   so   far   of   a   significant   link   between   the   outbreaks   and   human   travel,   although   it   was   being   tested.
